New Old Sweater

I saw this vintage cardigan at Hip Zipper in East Nashville at the 2008 Tomato Art Festival. I loved the bright green. I wear a sweater almost ever day at work because it’s cold in my office. I’m getting pretty tired of alternating between gray and brown sweaters (the two I leave at work) so bright green will be a welcome change! Jason and I stopped in on Saturday to see if the sweater was still there—8 weeks later—and it was still there! Yay! Based on the price, it’s from the 1950’s. (Hip Z charges one price for sweaters from the 70’s and another price—$2 more—for sweaters from the 50’s. No word on the 60’s.)

  1. I love the Hip Zipper. Trisha has a great eye for clothes.
